Kaminho FPSO

The Kaminho Project, led by TotalEnergies (40%) with partners Petronas (40%) and Sonangol (20%), is the first major deepwater development in Angola’s Kwanza Basin. Located 100 km offshore at a depth of 1,700 m, the project includes converting a VLCC into an all-electric FPSO connected to a subsea production network. Designed to minimize emissions and eliminate flaring, production is expected to start in 2028 with a plateau of 70,000 barrels per day.

Our scope involved 3D modeling of secondary steel for S & P series modules, including the flare tower, and preparation of general arrangement drawings. All deliverables were completed with high quality and within the planned schedule.
