Norfolk Vanguard - West & East

The Norfolk Vanguard West and East projects form the first phase of RWE’s Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, alongside the Norfolk Boreas developments. Once completed, the zone will generate enough renewable power to supply over four million homes, marking a major step toward the UK’s clean energy goals.

Aker Solutions has been engaged under a limited notice to proceed since November 2023, with the full notice marking a key milestone in supporting the global energy transition.

Our scope included 3D modeling of structural modules, development of erection and fabrication drawings, assembly sequencing, plate nesting, and weld mapping. The project was successfully delivered on time with high-quality and precise outputs.
